The decade from 2000 to 2010 was indeed the great decade of the Xbox and PlayStation brands thanks to the tremendous impact of great consoles such as the PlayStation 2, the original Xbox and their respective successors, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, but it is no less true which was also the decade that saw Nintendo rise from the ashes and return to its best form thanks to the worldwide success of the Wii and DS. It was also the decade in which we said goodbye to arcades almost definitively, it was a technological revolution due to the arrival and rapid evolution of games for mobile phones and of course it was also the decade in which the game was born. term retro and the entire cultural legacy of previous decades begins to be vigorously and enthusiastically vindicated.
