The world-famous video game hero, Super Mario, has finally made his debut in the world of manga! Sir Grodus, disguised as Bowser, uses Peach to summon the Shadow Queen. Mario and his allies attempt to stop Grodus while Luigi, Yoshi, and Toad are doing their parts to help. Mario, along with Bowser, Goombella, and Koops defeat the Shadow Queen, thus saving Peach and the world.
Volume 35 also starts the Mario & Luigi Partners in Time arc where babies Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser had their world invaded by the Shroobs.
