Stories of Game Designers is a collection of fictional stories portraying the everyday lives of ten game designers. Each one presents an everyday situation from game development, with fragments inspired by many of the experiences the author has had throughout his career as a game designer.
With some deliberate exaggeration to give the stories a lighthearted and humorous tone, Fabiano explores topics such as participating in game jams, getting started in the field, creating games that are far too ambitious, explaining to someone what a game designer does, attending events, pitching to a potential investor, and many other situations.
