The Raccoon City incident, revealed.
Raccoon City officially ceased to exist due to a supposed industrial accident. There was no public investigation, and no one was held accountable. However, over the years, rumors persisted: overwhelmed hospitals, gunshots in the middle of the night, and survivors claiming to have seen the dead rise.
In late 1999, journalist AC Peterson began collecting testimonies from those who managed to escape: rookie police officers, exhausted paramedics, and civilians trapped in a police station. Their accounts differ in the details, but agree on the essentials. They all point to the same name: Umbrella .
This 250-page volume brings together interviews, sketches, notes, and recovered documents about the city's final days. Many facts could not be verified, and others were deliberately concealed.
For the survivors, there is no doubt: Raccoon City was not a disaster. It was an experiment .
… And it may not have been the last.
