The field of video games continues to grow daily and, with it, new job opportunities arise for various professional environments. Among them, a field of new specialization that usually goes unnoticed stands out, such as that of interpretation in the field of video games (IAVJ), which has an ever-increasing depth within the industry. In this study, all the contexts in which the IAVJ is necessary are reviewed, as well as some examples of works in this field are analyzed and a series of recommendations are proposed for adequate training and correct performance of professional practice.
