The book Docu-Game questions the situations and elements where digital game and documentary cinema practices come together and determines how a game can be created through data based on provable documents. How the mechanical and dynamic elements that concern both a game and a documentary narrative from the idea stage are used in the design and with which platforms and equipment these designs are delivered to the user are explained in detail in the book.
In this work; the emergence of the Docu-Game narrative, which is likely to have an important place in the future of new media storytelling, its first and current examples, and the ways it is applied in the web, social media, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) related to new media are included. As a final aim; it is a successful attempt to prove that innovative academic approaches and researches produced in Turkish language are possible.
