This tourist guidebook is packed with the appeal of Ryme City, the setting of the Detective Pikachu game and film. It introduces the city’s history and sightseeing spots through numerous illustrations.

The book is set in Ryme City a few months before the events of the Nintendo Switch game Detective Pikachu Returns. A five-person editorial team of young city lovers, joined by one cleaning robot, walks around town to create the guidebook under the name “Apricot Book Coin.” Since none of them has any editing experience, the guidebook they produce may be a little different from an ordinary travel guide.

Locations visited in the game and familiar characters also appear. Created by Shogo Toda, known for lyrics and game scenario writing, together with Creatures, the developer of the original game, this book adds even more enjoyment to the world of Detective Pikachu.
