From the Famicom era of the 1980s through the PS3 and Nintendo 3DS generations, countless video games based on pachinko and pachislot have been released.

Initially, these games simply recreated the atmosphere of pachinko using fictional machines. However, as gaming hardware evolved, they developed into simulators that faithfully reproduced real-life pachinko and pachislot machines. By the PS2 era, many hugely successful titles inspired by popular real-world machines had also appeared.

This book thoroughly explores and introduces more than 600 pachinko and pachislot video games. It also discusses the actual machines featured within these games, making it a book that can also be read as a history of pachinko and pachislot.
