Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi face off against Princess Shroob in Shroob Castle. After a climactic battle against a Chain Chomp, Princess Shroob frees her older sister and now the Mario brothers, old and young, must face off against two princesses. Toadsworth, his younger self, Baby Peach and E. Gadd defeat Shroobsworth in the present. This brings to an end the Mario & Luigi Partners in Time arc.
This volume contains the first part of the Super Paper Mario arc where Peach gets kidnapped, but it's not Bowser's fault. Who kidnapped Peach?
