The world-famous video game hero, Super Mario, has finally made his debut in the world of manga! Mario and his allies fight against the X-Nauts and Vivian, but Vivian, a fan of Mario, keeps sabotaging the mission. Mario adds Admiral Bobbery to his crew to find the next Crystal Star at Keelhaul Key. Mario obtains the fifth and sixth Crystal Stars after defeating Cortez, Lord Crump, Smorg and Vivian's Sisters. Koops and Goombella join Mario to find the final Crystal Star at X-Naut Fortress. They also fight Bonetail in their search for the Thousand-Year Door.
