There's no denying the impact computer games and virtual worlds have had on gamers, especially children and adolescents. Years of analysis has shown the effects of digital media on players, but one area that hasn't been explored as frequently is the educational benefits that can be leveraged through computer games.
Co-financed by the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Bialystok, this book sets out offer more visibility into the enormous educational potential of computer games and to break the stereotypical perception of this form of digital entertainment among teachers ".
