Published in 1996 following the release of the first film, this Russian book loosely adapts elements from the Mortal Kombat into a 5-volume series.

This third book in the series actually begins the departure from the Mortal Kombat events that we know, and instead begins to focus on parallel worlds through the lens of some familiar characters.
