Video games reflect the society of their time, they are, in essence, a cultural product. In Ancient Greece, games were believed to help develop one’s state of mind. Today, these tools serve a wide range of purposes, from entertainment to education and even military training.
With this work, we aim to provide an overview of the history of games, from their origins to the present day, while also offering some perspectives on the future, highlighting the importance of this medium. We hope to inspire meaningful reflections for all those interested in the field.
