Daniel Lee, Henrique Drovandi, Sérgio Nesteriuk, Thiago Oliveira

A collection of texts on Game Design, studies of digital game mechanics, and the developments of gameplay.

In the first paper, a game review focuses on the mechanics of digital games in an interactive adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, directly based on the classic of American cinema.

In the second paper, the subject of the research is games classified as violent that feature gameplay mechanics involving “gratuitous violence,” without effective consequences within their dramatic dimension or punishments for the player.

In the third section, we present a project for 3D animation and social modeling, with a collaborative focus on the development of digital games.

In the fourth section, we present Game Jams held around the world for the development of digital games in teams, in a competitive format where participants have only a few days to prototype, model, and program their game.
