The author introduces the reader to the concept of culture: from the idea of antiquity, through the concept of Kultur, to the current ontology of the term. After analyzing the link between culture, society and the individual, we move on to the formulation of pop culture in the most recent theories. In the second chapter, the focus is on the binomial "culture and religion". A historical perspective as well as a perspective of communication and the related project of the Church, from the post-war period to the new media, as a fertile ground for dialogue between culture and faith. Finally, we want to suggest possible areas of intervention for operators in the cultural centers and halls of the parish community; this in order to provide useful tools.
