BUTTON MASHER: FROM THE WORLD OF PIXEL WONDERS
Ralf D. Hr Volker Niemeyer
Paperback Edition Digital Edition
Why do men over forty write a book reviewing video games that are only slightly younger than they are? What drives these men to meet once a month for an evening of culture, where they play one of these prehistoric systems and exchange anecdotes? And why is the result called Knopfklopfer (Button Masher)?
The book of the same name attempts to answer some of these questions and, as a bonus, also contains almost 400 entirely subjective game reviews for the following systems:
Atari 2600
Atari 7800
Atari XE/XL
CBS ColecoVision
Commodore C16
Commodore C64
Interton VC 4000
MB Vectrex
Nintendo Game & Watch
Nintendo Tabletop
Philips G7000
Schmid TVG 2000
Sega Master System
Texas Instruments TI-99/4A
Numerous images of game packaging and screenshots aim to convey to interested readers the fascination of this hobby.
